Beisbolista estadounidense, uno de los mejores en la historia del béisbol profesional. Luego de un breve paso por las Ligas Negras y posteriormente por las ligas menores, Aaron llega a las ligas mayores en 1954 como jardinero (outfielder) de los Milwaukee Braves. Cuando los Braves se trasladaron a Atlanta, Ga., en 1965, Aaron había bateado 398 home runs. En 1974 consiguió su home run (cuadrangular) número 715, quebrando así el récord impuesto por Babe Ruth. Jugó sus últimas dos temporadas profesionales (1975–76) con los Milwaukee Brewers. Los récords de Aaron como profesional de home runs (755), batazos fuera de base (1.477) y carreras impulsadas (2.297) aún no son superados, y sólo Ty Cobb y Pete Rose han podido mejorar su registro de batazos conectados (3.771). Aaron es reconocido como uno de los más grandes bateadores de todos los tiempos.
